The Khalistan Movement

Hello everyone,

Today I am going to talk about a topic which is really a serious matter to consider.

Khalistani Flag News
In past few days, there are some activities going on in Punjab which are anti-national activities. These anti-national and anti-Indian activities are being performed by Khalistani protestors. On the day before Independence Day, one of the Khalistani protestor waved a Khalistan flag on a government office. It was a District Administrative Office in Moga where this happened. When police checked the CCTV footage, they saw two protestors had climbed onto the building. Then they cut the rope of Indian flag and waved Khalistani flag. Both protestors then escaped and no one knows where they have gone!

Another incident was happened in Baba Bakala Sahab, where someone waved the Khalistani Flag on a shop.

Khalistani flag, what is khalistan

This is really a serious and considerate matter and both state and central government should look into it. Although Indian government had already banned the Sikh For Justice leader Gurupatwant Singh Pannu. This is a Khalistan Organisation which seeks for secession of Punjab from India. He announced the $25,000 prize to those who can wave the Khalistani flag on Red Fort on the Independence Day. Though I can openly say that, this is imposed thing to do because of high security of Red Fort. No one can wave their flag on Red Fort and especially on Independence Day.

Also, he announced another offer of $2,500 prize to those who wave the Khalistani flag upon their house. However, this whole activities are anti-national and like an alarm bell.

What is Khalistani movement?
I won’t go in detail and this movement will be given in brief here.
When India was divided into two halves, the partition was based on religion. It was about Hindu and Muslim partition. India became a Hindu country and on the other hand Pakistan became a Muslim country. Both the countries were partitioned on the basis of their respective religions. The main problem was that, Sikhs were ignored.
